A PERSONAL NOTE

Hey! I'm Jerri Duncan

I have adult-diagnosed ADHD. For years, I felt like my brain was working against me — I was constantly unfocused, forgetful, and full of big ideas that I could never seem to finish. I’d bounce from one exciting project to the next, only to leave a trail of half-done tasks and missed deadlines behind me. It was frustrating, exhausting, and honestly, it started to chip away at my confidence. I couldn’t understand why something that felt so right one day would feel overwhelming and impossible the next.

Eventually, I hit a breaking point. I got so tired of the cycle — starting strong, losing steam, and feeling like I had somehow failed again. That’s when everything started to shift. I stopped trying to force myself into “normal” productivity systems that didn’t make sense for how my brain works.

Instead, I began learning how to work

with my ADHD, not against it. I discovered ADHD-friendly tools and strategies, built structure around my energy levels, and let go of perfectionism in favor of progress. I created systems that supported my strengths — like creativity, big-picture thinking, and passion — while helping me manage the parts that used to hold me back. And with time, patience, and a whole lot of grace, I finally started to finish what I started, follow through on my ideas, and build a business that

fits me — one that I actually love showing up for.
